In the wake of barrier properties getting more important in the packaging of food products, Tempo now offers the highly effective high barrier metallised BOPP film. The film is generally used as part of a duplex/triplex laminate structure and offers good lamination bond. The finished product can be used for all food/personal care applications where moisture barrier is of utmost importance. The film also offers optimum gas barrier properties, has good heat seal strength for pouching applications and can be used for cold sealing as well.
It is available in 15/18/20/25 microns and the film’s metallisation offers superior anchorage with the film. The treated metallised surface may also be used for printing.
